Mindfulness Taster – 23rd September 2019


Are you living with Stress, Pain or Illness? Or would you just like to know more about Mindfulness?

Often we go through life on automatic pilot. Rarely do we stop to pay attention to what is going on around us. Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to the present moment, on purpose and with compassion. It can help us cope better with everyday life and tough times; resulting in great benefits for mental and physical health.  





Dip your toe in with a mindfulness taster session to find out a little more about Mindfulness and the many benefits it can bring you. Our Introduction to Mindfulness will give you a taster of Mindfulness techniques, comprising of a mixture of short Mindfulness practices, discussion and reflection, and information about Mindfulness.

You will leave with…
• a better understanding of what mindfulness is and how it can be trained;
• insight into the science of how it changes not only our minds, but also our brains;
• practical tools to incorporate mindfulness into your everyday life.

Don’t worry – you do not need to be calm or able to “shut off your mind” to enjoy Mindfulness. Monkey minds are welcome! Even if you have done one of our courses before but haven’t been in contact for a while, you may want to attend a taster session again to ease your way back in. Attending a taster/orientation session is a prerequisite for attending the 8 week MBSR course.

Session Length: 1.5 hrs

Price: €20 (may vary depending on facility rental costs)
